Leveling Up: Why I Said Yes to Growth

I’ve always believed that learning doesn’t end. Whether it’s diving into a new topic or keeping up with changes in my industry, professional development has become a constant goal in both my personal life and career. Growth isn’t a one-time thing—it’s a lifelong habit.

Recently, I took a step that felt a little bold: I applied for a scholarship through RedChairPGH. It was a bit outside my comfort zone, but I knew it was aligned with the kind of growth I’ve been seeking.

And I’m so excited to share that I was selected as a 2025 scholarship awardee!

This opportunity means more than just attending sessions or checking boxes. It’s a chance to truly invest in myself, learn from incredible mentors, and stretch my skills in new directions. Tomorrow, I kick things off with my first introductory call for the track I’ll be following, and I can’t wait to get started.

I’ll be using this blog as a space to document the journey — what I’m learning, what’s challenging me, and what I hope others can take away too. Here’s to showing up, staying curious, and choosing growth, even when it’s a little scary.
